Nancy Pelosi Threatens Arrest for Staff who Defy Mask Mandate

The Democrats’ obsession with face masks has become so severe that House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi is now having U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) threaten staff and visitors with arrest if they do not comply with her new House mask mandates.

“If a visitor or staff member fails to wear a mask after a request is made to do so, the visitor or staff shall be denied entry to the House Office Buildings or House-side of the U.S. Capitol,” a bulletin statement by USCP posted by Florida Rep. Kat Cammack on Twitter writes. “Any person who fails to either comply or leave the premises after being asked to do so would be subject to an arrest for Unlawful Entry.”

In the case of representatives themselves not masking up, USCP does not recommend arresting them, but says to report them to the House Sergeant at Arms.

While posting the statement, Cammack referred to the matter as “today’s edition of Pelosi’s abuse of power.”

The document says the mandate will not expire until the end of the year, despite D.C. health officials not yet advising it.

In response to the arrest threat, House Representative Madison Cawthorn created a donation link to pay the bail Republican staffers who could be arrested.

“If Kamala can pay the bail for violent Antifa rioters, then I can pay the bail for any Republican staffer arrested for not wearing a mask,” Cawthorn said on Twitter

Additionally, one day after Pelosi imposed the new mandate, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy called her out for hypocrisy on the matter after she called him a “moron” for criticizing the mandate.

“Twice today I saw the speaker in a crowded room without a mask, less than 24 hours after imposing the mask mandate,” McCarthy said while speaking on the floor.

“What frustrates Americans the most is the hypocrisy,” he added, referring to Pelosi’s maskless hair appointment last year that was caught on camera, “It’s kind of like telling America you can’t go get your hair cut, but you get caught on camera because you do it.”
