Kamala Harris Campaign Harassment Causes Influencer Kai Cenat Online Meltdown: “I don’t give a sh*t about politics!”

The Democratic nominee has tried to run a campaign off of “vibe” rather than policy.

Kamala Harris’s campaign is drawing criticism for its pursuit of “the vibe” from unlikely places.

Online personality Kai Cenat had an on-air meltdown over repeated contact from individuals representing the Harris campaign wanting to collaborate with the internet personality.

“I got the f---ing Secret Service calling me five times n---a,” screamed Cenat on the verge of tears. “I don’t give a g—d--- sh— about politics.”

Cenat went on to say he was later contacted by a girl trying to recruit him to the campaign. “At first I was thinking she was talking about a video game,” he said. With over 12 million online followers, Cenat is credited with popularizing a variety of internet trends and phrases such as “rizz” – a slang for charisma.

The Harris campaign’s outreach to viral influencers has intensified after Adin Ross hosted an interview for former President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago. Ross has more than 7 million followers across multiple platforms. Trump credits his son Barron for the interview which drew more than 500,000 live viewers.

The rapper known as Charlamagne tha God called Harris’s effort to recruit Kai Cenat “corny” and said whoever contacted him needs to be fired.

While some have lauded Harris’s surge in TikTok and other streaming outreach, others have called in “cringeworthy” and “desperation.” Social media influencer Fannita called Harris “unserious” and compared her to “Santa Clause.”

The Harris campaign website currently offers no information on policy or issues.

Harris’s pick of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz leaned into the concept of “vibe” in his announcement speech, thanking Harris for “bringing back the joy.” The speech came one day after a major stock market meltdown in which the NSDAQ dropped over 8%.

CNN’s Van Jones criticized the pick of Walz as “caving in to some of these darker parts of the party” and appeasing “anti-Jewish bigots” that have “gotten marbled into this party.”

The Harris campaign quickly branded Walz as “Cool dad energy”  to compliment Harris’s Cool Aunt persona. To date, Harris has had no press conferences and taken no questions from the media since President Biden withdrew from his bid for reelection.
